Rosalux is proud to announce the 14th Annual Open Door Exhibition. Open Door is the time of year when Rosalux opens its doors to artists outside of the collective.

Petersen, Emmett Ramstad, David Ruhlman, Anika Schneider, Christopher Selleck, Jeremiah Soup, Nicole Thomas, and Yuta Uchida.
The juror this year was Nicole Soukup, Assistant Curator of Contemporary Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts (Mia), where she also coordinates the Minnesota Artist Exhibition Project (MAEP). At Mia, Nicole has assisted with numerous exhibitions, including “More Real? Art in the Age of Truthiness”, “The Sports Show MN,”and “Sacred.” From 2015–16, she served as the interim coordinator for the MAEP, overseeing 10 exhibitions. Building on her interests in intersectional feminism and social practice, she curated and helped organize the “Guerrilla Girls’ Twin Cities Takeover” at multiple arts venues in 2016.
Nicole said of jurying the show: “As Minnesota’s longest running art collective, I am deeply honored to juror Rosalux’s Open Door 14. As a curator, it’s exciting to survey the depth of work across the country. As a juror, it’s challenging to cut artworks that are equally strong in merit and ability as those you accept. The artworks selected for Open Door 14 re-examine the intimate relationship between the viewer and the object. It is a celebration of scale, color, and form.”
